Held to encourage the creation of literary works and promote the learning of Chinese, the response to Berries' Children Chinese Picture Book Contest was overwhelming with more than a hundred entries submitted. Some children used their infinite creativity and imagination to create magical and imaginary characters while others drew inspirations from their experiences to create picture books that depicted a variety of emotions and thoughts. The colourful illustrations and the stirring words surprised and touched the hearts of the judges that comprised of veteran professionals from the arts and publishing industry. Eventually, twenty-two entries were shortlisted, with the top ten finalists invited for an interview. It was a challenging task to decide on the winners, but here they are!
